These Could be Your Winning Strategies
You need to constantly assess your strategies to see which ones work really well and to get rid of the ones that are a bit weak or just a bit outdated. This is no exception, so read on and see if these approaches could work well for your business.
Stay lean mean and…integrated?
To be lean and mean you should look through your content – your blog posts and so on – and take out the ones that don’t bring in that much traffic or are looking a bit passé. You can either consign them to history or repurpose them by posting them on sites like Quora, LinkedIn and so on (refresh any signs of age first, of course). This will refresh your central content and get your name out to a wider audience in one fell swoop.
Get podcasting
You might really hate going in front of the camera, but if you can get used to it, do so! If not, then maybe you could get someone else to do it…but do it you must. Whatever your line of business is, a ten-minute talk about your experience, ideas and plans will seriously increase your engagement levels. Don’t neglect your blog, though…
Re-jig your advertising
Paper advertising is pretty much a spent force now. It still works, of course, but its importance has receded so if you’re still paying for ads in hard copy, maybe it’s time to pull back.
It could also be time to look at your Google and Facebook ads, too, as these are very competitive fields now. Have a look at Reddit, Quora and StumbleUpon instead and if you can afford a bit of experimental advertising, it’s always worth a shot.
Delve into your data
You need to pay more attention to your data, especially to keyword search volume and competition, as this helps you to aim better content at your audience. It can be hard to unpick if you’re not that way inclined, so it’s probably worth getting in the professionals here; it’ll improve your direction no end.
